Education is a team sport
Educational partnerships are fundamental to the provision of quality education. The engagement of parents, community and, local institutions is crucial to the success of education policy. Pedagogical partnerships are also critical, to ensure that curriculum, professional development and school norms are responsive to research. Finally, the quality of these partnerships will collectively contribute to the experience of a student. The student, the primary and final partner in education needs a system that provides facilitation, a space for their needs to be addressed, and their learning style and speed to be honoured. Learning is a two-way process, and students as active participants promote strong outcomes.
