UN Delegation Experiences Maths-Whizz in Action at Kenya Marble Quarry Primary School

In a live virtual session coordinated with the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA), the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, Amina J. Mohammed, joined over 100 senior delegates to observe a Maths-Whizz lesson in real time from Kenya Marble Quarry Primary School.

The session showcased how satellite connectivity can drive social impact through education, allowing delegates to witness first-hand how students in rural Kenya are learning with Maths-Whizz’s adaptive, AI-powered virtual tutor.

The event served as a powerful demonstration of how technology can bridge learning gaps and expand access to quality education in underserved communities. It also builds on Whizz Education’s ongoing collaboration with UNOOSA to highlight the role of space-enabled connectivity in advancing Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education.
